Jon in Brighton
Jon Green has worked his way through the ranks to become a highly recognised content creator, English language specialist and accents coach on YouTube. In other words, he is top-tier material in his field.
Jon was born and raised in the south of England and went to university in Southampton. It was there that his love for art and design was combined with his ability to stand in front of an audience and present a given topic. This flair for presenting led to him becoming a lecturer for the University of Kent where he wrote and presented an Adult Education Course on the History of English Ceramics. Quite a niche you could say.
He qualified as an English teacher shortly after passing his Trinity TESOL exam which enabled him to teach English to speakers of other languages. He then moved to Poland and started working for the British Council (the most globally recognised British educational institution for promoting British values), where he still works today.
He started his freelance company (British Native Speaker in 2010) and since then has done voice-overs for high profile campaigns (including LOT Polish airlines) and started a YouTube channel in 2020 during the height of Covid. The channel was an overnight success and Jon continues to upload videos on a regular basis where you can get a better British accent and see Jon in action as a pronunciation and accents coach.
Jon is an audiophile and loves music sound and microphones especially. He is also a fan of classic Hollywood and film noir, so often he tries to incorporate elements of old films into his videos. He also has a great respect for the masters of film and TV such as Michael Caine, Orson Welles and Vincent Price.

-DELTA (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) - DELTA is at Proficient to Expert stages on the Cambridge English Teaching Framework and in the UK, recognised by Ofqual and is a level 7 qualification, which is comparable to a Masters degree.
